Dried Apricot is a Dry Fruit. Apricots are dried in form of whole, stoned or as halves by air or sun drying and also by using the drying plants. During drying process the water content level remains as 22%.
Apricot Slabs are made from overripe Apricot Fruit which actually have fallen from the tree. This fruit is sweeter and has a distinction.
The apricots are treated with Sulfur Vapor to prevent the fermentative browning which darkens the fruit.
